Brendan is 4 months old

We can't believe Brendan is turning 4 months old tomorrow. He is so amazing. It has been really hard on me now that I have gone back to work but Brendan is adjusting well. He is loving all the one on one time with nanny Char and his Dad and always has a blast with his cousins at Aunt Dana's. He is trying so hard to roll over and loves to stand up while you hold him. He talks and giggles at Mike and I all the time. We had a lot of fun when Uncle Ryan, Aunt Prachi, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Lynne and Aunt Caitlin came to visit. Brendan got to go on lots of adventures and was cuddled a whole bunch. Brendan asked Uncle Ryan to be is Godfather. We think the baptism will be sometime in the spring. We are really looking forward to the holidays and going to Mexico on the 27th. Happy Holidays to all. I will update with post doctor appointment details and holiday pictures soon.

Brendan turns 14 weeks and celebrates his first Thanksgiving

November has been a crazy month for Brendan. In the beginning of the month he was busy celebrating Tuck and Aunt Danas birthdays, joining a mommy and me group and even checking out the Academy of Science in San Francisco. He slept through most of that and the Planiterium freaked him out so him and I had to leave while Mike got to enjoy. We had no plans to head East when unfortunatly Mikes dear Uncle passed away. He was a wonderful man and will be missed so much. After this turn of events we decided to head back East to see everyone and try to bring a little joy to a sad situation by introducing them all to Brendan. He met the whole gang. He got to meet all his wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins in New York as well as New Jersey. We were so excited to introduce him to his three wonderful great grandmothers who all adored him and he got some special quality time with his Grandma and Grandpa. He did an awesome job on both plane rides he really is an amazing baby. When we got back we got to see all the California family after the Christmas tree lighting. Then on Saturday Brendan got to meet his Aunt Beth and have dinner with his Aunt Hilary and Uncle Andy. We rounded out the crazy month with heading to Half Moon Bay to bring Scoobs to the beach and get Brendans first Christmas tree. It was such a fun day and he loved hanging out with Nanny, Poppy, Kenzie and Cass. He is busy trying to roll over and loves using his voice. I head back to work tomorrow and am not looking forward to it but know Brendan will be in good hands and will be racing home from work everyday to see him. Brendan 11 weeks

Brendan went to the doctor today and weighs 11 pounds 6 ounces and is 22 3/4 inches long. He is doing all the things he should be and growing and growing. He is such a happy boy and loves to smile and giggle. We have been going on a lot of fun family adventures, to the beach, San Fran, restaurants and lots of walks. Brendan really loves to be outside and explore the world. Auntie Jules came for a visit last weekend and Brendan loved all the attention from her and her Aunt Shell, Aunt Cate and Aunt Hil and Uncles Justin and Andy. We are so excited for the holidays to come and especially our New Years trip to Mexico. Hope all are well.

Brendan is 10 weeks!

On Friday Brendan turned 10 weeks old and he is becoming such a funny boy. He loves to give out lots of smiles and perform his new tricks of punching and kicking in the air. He loves to go under his "school" and kick at all the toys that are hanging above him. He is practicing using his voice and talking to Scoobie. Scoobs is becoming very protective and loves to lie next to Brendan and gives him more and more kisses. We are still working on his love for his crib he is very attached to sleeping next to his mom in his co-sleeper. I sort of love it too. Mike had Hernia surgery on Wednesday so Brendan and I have been trying to nurse him back to health. The patient is doing well and feeling better every day. We now both have impressive scars. Brendan had a great first Halloween. He got dressed in a black outfit with a ghost on it and a ghost hat. We of went to Saint Rita and Brendan got lots of love from my fellow teachers and loved looking at all the kids. He was even in the faculty picture. Later in the day we headed to Aunt Danas and got to see Maddie, Tuck and Beach in their costumes. So Cute! To finish the day the three of us got pizza and went home and Brendan got in his pumpkin pajamas from his Grandma Patty. Love to all!

Brendan is 8 weeks!

Baby Brendan has been on the move and spending time with all sorts of special aunts and uncles. He has been busy getting bigger and bigger as well. He is now well over 10 pounds about 22 inches long and giving us lots smiles and goos. He is also doing amazing with sleeping at night. He is starting to respond to his toys like Lilly the turtle and loves his soothie. Also Brendan and Scoobs are starting to bond and they sleep right next to each other. Over the last two weeks Brendan has spent lots of time with his cousins (they amaze him, he stares and smiles at them and then has to pass out from all the excitement. He also hung out with his favorite aunts (Shell, Brenda, Josie, Cate, Hilary and Alexa) and got to see his Uncle Mike again. He has been to his Daddy's work a few times and really enjoyed the football games. This weekend Aunt Alexa flew into town and her and Aunt Shell stayed the weekend and he loved all the time with them. Aunt Alexa brought him some awesome Arizona gear and he got to wear it for the game on Saturday! GO CATS! Brendan loves all his special time with all the special people in his lives.

Brendan is 6 weeks

Brendan has had a very busy two weeks. He has been to Tahoe for a great three days. He went to Garwoods for lunch, went to the beach, went on a gondola up Northstars mountain, and hung out at an awesome house with his cousins, aunt and uncles and Nanny and Poppy. Then we had a nice week at home. Brendan went to Saint Rita and met all his fans. The kids loved seeing the baby that grew in their teachers belly all last weekend. Then Brendan, AKA Beep spent the weekend at his Nanny Char and Poppys. Mike and I went to Laguna for a wedding. Although it was s hard to leave and I was a bit of a wreck for a little while once we got there we had an awesome time and missed Brendan a ton but partied a bunch. Brendan had a great weekend as well and got chunkier and lost more hair. He is up to more then 10 pounds and is very bald. He is already growing out of clothes and is smiling at us. We go to the doctor on Wednesday, I will update after with details.

Brendan turs 1 month

Brendan, Mike and I have been very busy since we got home last week. We have had many visitors and been busy with adjusting to home life. The week started out with a fun day with his cousins Madison and Beach. Then on Tuesday night Kyle, Hannah, Charleen, Chris and Michele came over for dinner and all got a lot of cuddle time with Brendan. Then Brendan went on a shopping trip to his Aunt Cates store in Walnut Creek for a new dress for me. He tried out his swing or the first time and really liked it. On Thursday Brendan got a great visit from his Grandma and Grandpa. He got to spend lots of quality time with them and got a surprise visit from his Aunt Kathy and Uncle Dennis. He loved all the quality time, bottles, diaper changes and most of all cuddiling. We all went to Mikes restaurants and a trip to Napa. Brendan loved spending a few days with his family and misses them so much. Mike and I went out on Saturday day night and although it was a blast my first hangover in 10 months sucked on Sunday. Scoobs is sneaking more and more licks and decided to take a drink out of the bath tub while Brendan was in it. We rounded out the week with our first family walk and date night for the three of us at FISH tonight. We are loving becoming a family more and more every day. We are of to Tahoe this weekend. Brendan's first vacation.

Brendan is getting bigger by the day!

Brendan is loving his bottles and growing by the day. His cheeks get bigger and bigger and his hair is coming in like crazy. He is almost 8 pounds and it is a big diference from the 6.4 that he cam home at. Mike and I are heading home tomorrow, we are excited and nervous. It is time to get our routine together and Scoobie is ready for his bed. We are all really going to miss being here and plan to spend some weekends here. Nanny Char and Poppy Rudy are already talking about Brendan withdrawls. Brendan's Grandma and Grandpa are coming on Thursday and we are all very excited to see them.
