Brendan Patrick has arrived

Brendan decided to join us on Friday evening and we are ecstatic. He decided he was to cramped inside and after some excitement at the doctors office and in the hospital I had a c-section and he arrived at 8:13 P.M. We were in the hospital for a few days and came home yesterday. He is doing amazing and is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to us. We are learning every moment. Thanks for all the calls and wonderful emails. We are so in love with our little boy and look forward to sharing all his adventures with you all.

37 Weeks

We are 98% finished with the nursery so I have decided to post some pics. I am feeling pretty good but very ready. All the family is here from New Jersey so we are having a great time with them. The kids through Mike a baby shower yesterday and made him taste all different types of baby food, change diapers on a doll and bathe a doll. It was quite funny. We go back to the doctor on Friday unless he decides to arrive sooner. We are really getting excited and nervous for our next adventure.

36 Weeks

We went to the doctor on Friday and all is well. The baby continues to drop and we think the c-section will be in my 39th week. I want to go back to work for the first week of school. We then headed up to Tahoe for our last vacation pre-baby. We had a great time and got to hang out with friends and relax in the lake. Check out that large polka dot belly. We go back to to the doctor on the 22nd. The room is basically finished and I plan to post those pictures this weekend, once the finishing touches are up. Mike and I can't believe we are in the final weeks. We can't wait for the little guy to arrive.

35 weeks

All is well in the land of babyburke. I have just been driving Mike crazy with trying to get the room finished and hope to post pictures of that soon. I am also busy trying to get everything ready for back to school. I need to get the classroom set up and everything set for my long term sub. We go back to the doctor on Friday and I hope to get some more information on the date for the C-section. I measured my belly today and it is 38 inches aroud my belly button. That provided for some good laughs. Besides that I have been keeping Mike busy exercising and preparing. We are getting really excited and nervous. We can't believe we are in the home stretch and get to finally see what he looks like soon.
