We had a great Va;entines weekend in Sausalito. It was so great to spend the whole weekend at home. The day began with watching the Cats beat UCLA as you can see feom the pics Mike and Brendan were in full gear. Then we spent the day together and the three of us went to an early sushi dinner that Brendan slept through the whole thing. It was great. It was so much fun having my little Valentine to share our day with, he looks so big in his fancy button down. Notice in the fist pic how he is constantly flipping over. He is turning into a wild man. Love to all.

Brendan is 5 1/2 months
Brendan is getting so big and more and more active every day. He loves to play and roll and blow lots of bubbles, especially when he is eating. He is really enjoying all the new tastes of food. He thinks blowing it back at me is a really fun game. We have been so busy and Brendan has been on the move with us. We have spent lots of time down in Woodside while Mike has been working on the weekends and Brendan is so excited his Poppy is retiring and he will get to spend time with him all the time. Nanny and Poppy and Brendan are going to have so much fun together. Brendan also can't wait for his Grandpa to come out soon and take care of him for a week while Mike and I are at work. I am sure they are going to have so much fun and Scoobie will get so good park runs as well. Brendan is busy mastering rolling over in both directions and working on sitting up and even thinking about the starting of crawling. It really does go so quickly. We are having such an amazing time watching him discover the world. Hope you are all well.

Brendan is 5 months old
Brendan turned 5 months old today and how times change in 5 months. Our little boy now rolls all over the place, giggles all the time, sits at the table with us during dinner, plays in his exersauser and loves watching sports with his dad. We are having so much fun watching him discover the world. He is a big fan of drooling all the time and goes through many outfit changes. We had a great day at Stinson beach over the weekend. He is really enjoying being with his cousins, and Aunt Dana and Nanny Char and his Dad during the week. Luckily I have worked it out that I am going to work half days on Fridays so I will get to take care of him from 12:00 on on Fridays. I am so excited. Hope you are all well and 2009 is treating you great.

Brendans First Christmas and trip to Cabo!
The last time I left off we were headed to the doctor. Brendan weighs almost 14 pounds and is 25 inches long. He is doing great, loves to stand and getting closer and closer every day to mastering rolling over. We had an awesome first Christmas . We got to spend lots of time together. Santa came for Brendan and he loved looking at all his new colorful toys that make all sorts of fun noises. Brendan spent the holidays with all his California counsins and his Nanny and Poppy and his favorite friend Scoobs. Then on the 27th we headed off to our Mexico adventure in Cabo. We had an amazing 8 days. Brendan loved the Beach, the sun and even going in the pool. He was awesome on the plane and got so much attention and love from his cousins. He loved laughing at them all and getting special time with everyone. Brendan asked his cousins Remy and Michaela to be his Godmothers. We are sad our vacation is over but loved all the fun times. We are so appreciative to Nanny Char and Poppy Rudy. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. Peace and love to all.

Brendan is 4 months old

We can't believe Brendan is turning 4 months old tomorrow. He is so amazing. It has been really hard on me now that I have gone back to work but Brendan is adjusting well. He is loving all the one on one time with nanny Char and his Dad and always has a blast with his cousins at Aunt Dana's. He is trying so hard to roll over and loves to stand up while you hold him. He talks and giggles at Mike and I all the time. We had a lot of fun when Uncle Ryan, Aunt Prachi, Uncle Ryan, Aunt Lynne and Aunt Caitlin came to visit. Brendan got to go on lots of adventures and was cuddled a whole bunch. Brendan asked Uncle Ryan to be is Godfather. We think the baptism will be sometime in the spring. We are really looking forward to the holidays and going to Mexico on the 27th. Happy Holidays to all. I will update with post doctor appointment details and holiday pictures soon.

Brendan turns 14 weeks and celebrates his first Thanksgiving

November has been a crazy month for Brendan. In the beginning of the month he was busy celebrating Tuck and Aunt Danas birthdays, joining a mommy and me group and even checking out the Academy of Science in San Francisco. He slept through most of that and the Planiterium freaked him out so him and I had to leave while Mike got to enjoy. We had no plans to head East when unfortunatly Mikes dear Uncle passed away. He was a wonderful man and will be missed so much. After this turn of events we decided to head back East to see everyone and try to bring a little joy to a sad situation by introducing them all to Brendan. He met the whole gang. He got to meet all his wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins in New York as well as New Jersey. We were so excited to introduce him to his three wonderful great grandmothers who all adored him and he got some special quality time with his Grandma and Grandpa. He did an awesome job on both plane rides he really is an amazing baby. When we got back we got to see all the California family after the Christmas tree lighting. Then on Saturday Brendan got to meet his Aunt Beth and have dinner with his Aunt Hilary and Uncle Andy. We rounded out the crazy month with heading to Half Moon Bay to bring Scoobs to the beach and get Brendans first Christmas tree. It was such a fun day and he loved hanging out with Nanny, Poppy, Kenzie and Cass. He is busy trying to roll over and loves using his voice. I head back to work tomorrow and am not looking forward to it but know Brendan will be in good hands and will be racing home from work everyday to see him. Happy Thanksgiving to all and hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.
